Bernard, Cabaret Gourmand
Strike the cue for my vibrant kickoff, a fur coat clinging to the shoulder like second skin. Indulge me, saunter me in, greet me by familiar hums. Let the lights be low, with a concoction of art and alcohol. "One of the usual", I tell me bartender, who nods without following up on what mischief I'll be planning tonight. I'm surrounded by the swirl of feathers and sequins, I am at home among those dancing, with unrestrained and spirited laughter bubbling from my chest.A flirtatious comment here, a hearty chuckle there, I will always shed my worries like a costume and paint joy. The stage is calling my name, and I, am its most devoted attendee. Eventually, when the dawn threatens, let my spirit never wane, let me stroll through the quiet streets, let the echoes of my walk be reminding me of tomorrow, another night, another dance.
